Data Protection   

SOC 2

The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Service Organization Controls (SOC) reports give assurance over control environments as they relate to the retrieval, storage, processing, and transfer of data. The reports cover IT general controls and controls, as well as controls around the availability, confidentiality, and security of customer data, and are issued for 6-month periods each year.

Baker Newman Noyes has audited ClaimVantage and has granted the organization with a SOC 2 certificate.

Salesforce ISV Partner  

The ClaimVantage software solutions are built on the Salesforce Lightning Platform, and we are a gold ISV Salesforce partner. This platform allows us to provide you with software that is regularly updated, flexible to integrate with third-party applications, and scalable to support your company’s growth.

Salesforce has heavily invested in the security and resilience of its infrastructure. Its data center operations have received ISO 27001 and SAS70 Type II audits attestations. Salesforce.com is a certified licensee of the TRUSTe Web Privacy Seal, a certified licensee of the TRUSTe EU Safe Harbor Seal and abides by the EU Safe Harbor Framework. It has detailed network and physical security mechanisms in place.

Compliance

FMLA

All federal and state FMLA leaves are built into our Absence and IDAM software solutions. We have a team who continuously monitors legislation, to ensure that as soon as new legislation is passed, we can begin the review, development, and testing process, and have updates to the software in place before the legislation becomes effective.

We notify our customers of upcoming changes to regulations, and advise them of updates we’re making to the solution, as well as potential impacts the legislation may have on their business processes. Customers can opt-in to receive these updates by email. We also discuss regulatory updates during focus group meetings with our customers several times a year.

ClaimVantage also audits all leave laws annually, to ensure compliance with federal and state FMLA laws.

Claim Management

Each customer is accountable to ensure their business processes and claimant communications meet ERISA and state requirements for claim management.

Using our self-service workflow functionality, our customers can create specific workflows, tasks, and communications, selecting timing and event triggers to help ensure their business rules and processes align with ERISA and state requirements.
