January

ClaimVantage Founded.

2007

North American

First North American Customer using Claim Management software solution.

2008

Europe

Signed first European customer.

2010

On the Cloud

Rebuilt our claim management software solution on the cloud-based, Salesforce platform.

2011

Cloud Based

First customer using our cloud-based claim management software solution.

2012

Absence Management

Launched our absence management software solution. Our first absence customer began using the platform in August.

2015

December

Signed our first Australian customer.

2016

Australian Office

Opened offices in Melbourne, Australia.

2017

Growth

In January we launched our accommodation management software solution.
In March, we doubled the size of our office in Dublin to support growth.

2018

Growth

In March, all ClaimVantage applications are noe Lightning Ready on the Salesforce platform.
In April, we opened our office in Tokyo, Japan.

Where it all Began...

Life insurance policies begin to be issued in London, with mathematical and statistical tools implemented in the mid 1700’s.

By the 1760’s the sales of life insurance began in the US.

1930's

The Computer is Born

The first programmable computer is invented.

1970's

Internet Launched

Email and the internet are invented.

1980's

Paper-based Claims

Claims are submitted using paper, and file folders are being used to manage the claim life cycle.

Software developments are enabling insurers to begin to develop custom built software solutions for claims processing in-house.

Electronic systems, such as IBM, are being introduced to allow employees in different offices to communicate electronically.

1990's

Insurers Go Online

The world-wide web debuts on the internet. Insurance carriers begin to launch consumer websites in the mid-1990’s.

Insurers are using spreadsheets and access databases to manage insurance claims.

The first mobile phone launched in the mid-1990s.

2000

Streamline Processes

Workflows are being introduced to streamline processes. Social networking sites are introduced.

Insurers started offering omni-channel distribution, through agents, over the phone, and over the internet.

2005

Rule Engines

Rule-engines to drive processes and automated workflows are introduced to improve efficiency and productivity.

2007

Smartphone Launched

The first smartphone, the iPhone is launched.

2010

Cloud Technology

Cloud-based software solutions begin to win the “Build versus Buy” debate.

2015

PaaS

Integration capabilities begin to improve with the influx of PaaS (Platform as a Service) offerings in the market.

Mobile application functionality becomes more popular among life and health insurers.

Mid 2015, the term InsurTech, meaning Insurance Technology, is coined.

Big data and data analytics make inroads in the life and health insurance industry, although adoption will be slow.
