We’ve Changed Our Look
Our brand appearance may have changed in 2018, but our dedication to our customers and service has not.
We wanted our branding to grow alongside our company, which has seen huge growth over the past few years. We took the leap and gave our brand a new image by changing our logo, company colors, and product names.
Since late March, all of our software solutions are Lightning ready and available on the Salesforce AppExchange. This move to Lightning empowers you to integrate the world-leading Salesforce CRM system with our latest insurance technology platform.
Head of Product Appointed
We were delighted to appoint Monique Bouffard as Head of Product at ClaimVantage in June. Monique will oversee the Research & Development (R&D) efforts at ClaimVantage to steer, develop, and deliver our strategic product roadmap.
Our Global Expansion
Stacy Varney recently joined the ClaimVantage team as Global Head of Sales and Marketing. With over 20 years experience in the insurance industry, Stacy will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to further develop the global market.
We opened our new office in Portland, Maine in May, moving to a bigger location to accommodate our ever-growing team.
After welcoming Takashi Namiki to the team as the local business development manager in April, we officially opened our Tokyo office in June. With Japan representing 33% of the global life insurance market, we’re delighted to bring our InsurTech solutions to this advanced market.
We held our 2nd Australian User Group Meeting in Melbourne in October, inviting our customers along to discuss industry trends with Ian Bridgman from the Claim Lab, hear the latest from Salesforce, and to see demonstrations of our new features & functionality.

Our team presented at 9 global industry events in 2018.
Sarah Brydon and Angie Brown presented on the benefits of a paid family leave program as part of the DMEC Webinar series, our consultant Michael Klafeschy presented an SHRM webinar and presented at the Annual DMEC Conference on the differences between Disability and FMLA usage across various employer sizes, John Murphy presented at the Claims Transformation Conference in Johannesburg, Graham Newman presented at the Life Insurance Forum in London, and our scrum master Frances Smyth presented at the Agile Lean Conference in Dublin.
With a number of speaking slots planned for 2019, we look forward to sharing more thought leadership in the new year.
This year we upped the ante when it came to our company culture. We’ve always prided ourselves in promoting a healthy work-life balance but we thought it was time to put more emphasis on our office culture. With established social committees, we’ve increased the number of social events and competitions we held to make the environment even more enjoyable for everyone!
Each year we make a holiday charity donation, with Make A Wish International being chosen for 2018, but this year our team made a conscious effort to do even more for charities close to our hearts. Employees took time to get involved in events such as the MCCP Maine Marathon, Movember, and No-Shave November to raise money for charities in need whilst also building team relationships.
It’s been a busy year for us here at ClaimVantage, we’ve grown significantly and welcomed countless changes along the way but we’re not stopping any time soon. 2018 has set us up for further success and changes in 2019.
We will continue to deliver world-class customer service, as we continue to implement InsurTech initiatives based on our successful product approach to date.
